God, I miss that feeling

God, I want to wake up in the morning knowing she cares for me

God, I want to talk about nothing on the phone with her

God, I want to act stupid, make her laugh, and brighten up her day

God, I want to write her songs, poems, letters
God says "wait"
God, I just want to hold her hand

God, all my friends have boyfriends and girlfriends

God, I want to be able to call her mine

God, I want to protect her and take care of her
God says "wait"
God, I'm not getting any younger
God says "wait"
God, this isn't going according to my plan

God, I don't think any girl could love me
God says "wait"
God, what if I forget how to love

God, haven't I learnt my lesson yet?

God, when is she going to come? Will she ever come?

God, she'd better be worth it.
God said "Oh, she will be."
